I am lookin for a new and exciting career in the child care sector preferably with special needs or vunerable children/adults, i am very interested in social care, socal work, working with families, schools, childrens homes, children in care etc...but any rewarding job in child care, as that is where my passion lies. i am willing to train further or undertake qualifications to better my knowledge and experience. I ahve been working with children for over ten years in many paid and unpaid roles. I am currently working as a support worker in a respite home for children with disabilities and i am qualified and experienced in the field of special needs.

I am a hard worker who is enthusiastic and energetic. I am a good timekeeper and I work well under my own and as part of a team. I can use my initiative but at the same time I can take orders and carryout tasks that I am given. I have a good sense of humour which I feel is essential working with children. I enjoy working with children and young people especially those with special or additional needs. I feel I have the personality, mannerisms and patience that are needed to work with children and young people.
