Work Experience:
The Langham Hotel –
‘One Touch’ Supervisor.
-I currently work at the Langham Hotel ‘One Touch’ department. This is a new system that has been designed to make it easier for guests and colleagues alike, to communicate through the ‘One Touch Button’ department - I have assisted in getting this up and running. I proceed to deliver 5* service on impact, assist in the day-to-day filing of a busy office, communicate and offer feed back to my direct manager and help develop our team qualities in projecting the Hotel brand standards.
The Dorchester Hotel –
F&B Assistant on The Promenade.
-Working at one of the world’s top Hotels, it was always extremely busy. It was pivotal to be a few steps ahead, as this would help in the hard work that followed. The Promenade is an all-day-dining area where excellent product knowledge was essential, great communication skills, with patience a necessity. Shift times ranged throughout the day so adaption to each shift was key in giving above exceptional service.
Kemutec PPS – Secretary.
-Acting as the main administrator within the company, my duties included the general day-to-day running of the office. I organised meetings, daily schedules and business trip itineraries. Liaised with the company directors, produced current progress reports and communicated with our clients.
The Camelia Hotel –
Receptionist & Waitress.
-My duties were varied and consisted of a great deal of multitasking. A regular shift would be to cover a busy Restaurant, Bar & Reception. I would answer telephone enquiries, interact with the guests and complete the handover at the end of a shift, as well as handling the daily cash float.
The Essex County Hotel –
Function Supervisor.
-Within this role, I had to prepare for upcoming events and assist the Function Manager with the running of the service. I communicated with clients prior to the function to obtain the correct and necessary information, liaised with the staff to ensure they knew their roles fully for the duration of the event, and assisted with completion of the function. This was a challenging role that I excelled in.
