RESEARCH EXPERIENCES
Second Year Project:
The system developed was named Athlete Registration and Retrieval System, and was developed so as to automate the functions done at the Athletic Association of Sri Lanka. This system possesses the ability to register new athletes, retrieve records and all information with regards to any athlete registered and print certificates according to the achievements made by the athlete. The system was integrated with security measures and also processes of updating and searching facilities were implemented.
Third Year Project (Final):
The system, Social Wireless Network (SWN) is a research project, which was based on the concept of free communication via mobile networks. When developing the system, one of the main focuses was to make it a community project so as the community can enhance the software with evolving wireless technologies. The system for the moment uses Bluetooth technology and creates a mobile network through which messages can be sent free of charge. This system eliminates the need of a mobile service provider. And users can message or call free of charge within the network of the SWN.
Work Experience:
1. I have worked at ACNielsen Ltd, Bambalapitiya,, Sri Lanka as a field officer for 2 months.
2. I have worked at Tele-Hawk International as a Tele-Marketing Officer at for 2 ½ months.
3. Im currently employed as an Internet Support Executive at Suntel Limited, Sri Lanka.. (2 yrs 3 months)
