Early Years Work Experiences in Australia. Worked at the Snowy Mountain Hydro Development Scheme during1964 and 1965, in the tunnels and on the surface as Earth Moving Equipment Operator.
Sold encyclopaedias door to door for 18Mnths.
Worked at Mount Isa Mines in QLD, Gove in NT and Hamersley Iron Ltd in WA as an OHEO1 (Ore Handling Equipment Operator Grade 1) in 1969 through 1970.
Sold Siding (Wall Cladding for buildings) on and off for 5 yrs during which time I also sold Land in a number of states VIC, NSW and QLD on separate projects.
Sold Kitchens for a year and then was asked to manage another company, where after I built the business up to a success the Directors sold the Company.
Business Life: In 1976 created my own company, New Vogue Kitchens Pty Ltd. By individually designing and selling kitchens to customers in Sydney through a Building Designs Centre, and in the Country towns of NSW and ACT by displaying a Mobile Show Room (25’ Caravan custom outfitted with 4 kitchen designs) in the towns to attract business, the mobile show room was very successful for lead generation.
After selling the Business in 1981 we went to QLD to live and I entered the Real Estate Marketing for a short while.
Education:
In 1982 I was introduced to Telemarketing and Advertising and after the company I was working for changed hands, I went out on my own.
We opened our own Telemarketing operation and within 2Yrs we were producing a 120 page magazine per week.
We were doing 51 Magazines per annum. This included the selling of advertising in the publications and composing all things necessary like, editorial, design, typeset and up to and including the paste up, the only part of the publication that we did not do in house, was the printing.
During this time I took on a number of Directorships, one of which was Dreams Come True Marketing Ltd (public company) and organised a mail order catalogue for the Australian market, and a display in Tokyo Japan, in the Soho Department store for Australian products.
During this exercise I was introduce to a number of great ideas in the Novelty products, but due to lack of produced products on an industrial scale I went into producing a number of products in Taiwan and Hong Kong with ceramic from mainland China.
The marketing of novelty products got me involved in marketing in the Philippines and gave me the opportunity to arrange telemarketing to be operated from there into Australia.
The need to produce in quantity I got involved with a friend to develop one of the 3 Dimensional Screen Printing processes, for which we still hold the patents.
In 1989 we went digital and started producing the first Business Directories on 5 1/4” floppies and on Bulletin Boards in Australia. The Bulletin Boards were situated in every Capital City in Australia and offshore one in the USA and one in Singapore.
The advent of the Internet and the introduction of Windows enabled us to move with the tide.
We developed new technologies and progressed to have the directories combined on a CD, at which time we opened offices in the UK and the USA to market the business directories. In India we had our telemarketing sales operation and we were in this field of Business till 2006.

Hobbies, favourite past times are boating in summer, and snooker in winter.
In conclusion; I have had business dealings in, Australia, Hong Kong, India, Philippines, Taiwan, UK and the USA.
