Project Overview
VAB is an Information System for any Enterprise. An Information System Foundation (ISF) provides an Enterprise with an Information System.
The information needs represented as process data on the foundation instead of software programs. This leverages the user to easily manage and change the system as the business processes change. Further, building an information system on an ISF will be far simpler, quick and robust as there is no programming or database design involved.
VAB Architecture
A domain expert interacts with the end user and understands the information system required for the Organization.
The information system analyzed and made simple structures called Transaction Structures and Information Views. These defined using the Developer Environment. The Developer environment is an application that used to define the Transaction Structures and Information Views.
The Developer stores the definitions of Transaction Structures and Information Views as Process Data.
The definitions understood and executed directly by the V Application Builder Real Time Environment (RTE). This is an application, which used by the end user to interact with the Information System built on the Application Builder Information System.
The RTE (Real Time Environment) divided into two layers viz. Graphical User Interface Layer (GUIL) and the Process Request Server (PRS).
The GUIL presents a user interface for the end user based on the Transaction Structure definition.
The GUIL interacts with the end user and submits various requests for transaction processing or information request to the PRS.
PRS provides services to process transactions and information requests. The Transaction Structures govern the transaction processing done by the PRS. The Information Views govern the processing of information requests.
It is important to note that the PRS does not have any programs particular to any business process.
In this approach, software programs not written to make an information system. Instead, an information system analyzed and broken down into Transaction Structures and Information Views and defined through the Developer Environment.

I was handling 6 people team that is responsible for the administration, development and support of Virtual Document Management System. The Virtual Document Management System is a part of SharePoint Portal Server 2007 and all these parts. I have sole responsibility to handle the administrative tasks as well as the integration with other applications.
Document Management framework
Management System framework is the one of the core tool of MS SharePoint Portal server 2007 but I am extending its properties by the Help of .Net technology and SharePoint Webparts. After the extending user can upload the document form any ASP .Net Application at Document Library, also view, and rate the document from there. For this, I worked on SharePoint Web services as well as on framework of the MS SharePoint Portal Server 2007.
Management portal
MS SharePoint Portal solutions for Management and office automation is portal developed especially for the Management staff and contains the centralized data of the company as a whole to view by the secretariat the major features are Contact Greeting System, Time Management System, Task System and Meeting Record System.
Program management office
MS SharePoint Portal solutions for tracking the projects and resources
PMO built in ASP.Net, deals with the management of projects undertaken within the company. It tracks resources utilization and is capable of auto escalation.
A module that enabled users to upload project related documents in the portal by connecting ASP.Net application to MS SharePoint Portal through a web service

MS SharePoint Portal solutions to bring all the units together
The collaboration world consisting of a Portal and sites provides a common platform for all the units of the Organization. It allows various units to manage repository and share the same with other departments. The portal for each department has dynamic components like, Management Team, Projects, Customers and Partners with search facility.
Four dynamic components that built only once and applied for all the units portals
Management Team: allows the user to view details of the top management of the unit and send mail to them.
Partners: The information about various partners associated with the particular unit with search enabled.
Projects: provides the information about projects undergone within department and gives critical information like resources, start time, end time and project cost estimation.
Planner: led a team of three to create this module and it provides the facility to store data related to the meetings happening within the unit like agenda of meeting, MoM and uploading the related docs.

It aggregates, organizes and translates product catalog information from suppliers and helps buyers define their requirements through a product search and/or an RFP/RFQ process. Rather than suppliers pushing product at their customers, customers will pull product from suppliers in the quantities required to ensure availability at the point of consumption.
www.ih-x.com facilitates interaction between prospective buyers and sellers that leads to a contract or individual order. Processes may include multi-round bidding, multi-variable auctioning, bid/ask matching, and complex negotiation.

KIMS is Keimed - Inventory Management System. KMS consists of several FrontEnd applications, components and a structured database design and general data. Client specific business processes and business rules can incorporate. KMS is an architectural framework for enterprise wide healthcare information system, which is highly configurable. The Inventory Management System module is part of Hierarchical Multicast Routing Protocol HIMrPS suite of module. The primary function of this module is to keep a record of all the pharmaceutical items.
