Company Information The Barnet-Chase Farms Trust provides IT support to a number of hospital and medical institutions in the Barnet Borough of London
Responsibilities My primary role is to provide remote and onsite Desktop and Application support to a Hospital Trusts computer users. This involves hardware and software installation and support. I am currently the team lead at Barnet Hospital for a hospital-wide laptop encryption process.
I act as relief Service Desk manager.
I am also a Registration Authority (RA) Agent and am responsible for creating Smartcards for this Trust. This means ensuring user identification meets e-GIF Level 3 standards.
Key Projects / Achievements * Managing RA Smartcards creation and ensuring they are at e-GIF Level 3 standards.
* Acting as IT liaison to the team managing major change to the Hospital Pharmacy database and robot software interface.

Company Information Bundaberg Sugar is a medium-sized sugar-milling company; having mills, packaging plants and corporate offices through-out Queensland.
Responsibilities My role was to provide remote and onsite Desktop Support to a medium-sized company with a high ratio of users-to-technicians. My role for eight (8) years was to receive a computer (desktop or laptop), build it with the company Standard Operating Environment (SOE) and role-specific applications, and then deploy it to site; supporting the software and hardware until its decommission. My role also included Active Directory user administration, system upgrades, auditing and license management.
Key Projects / Achievements I feel proud that I was able to provide on-going and successful, long term IT support to a medium-size company with a diverse hardware and software environment.
I have written VBScripts that:
1. Provide auditing of all user and security group access rights (ACLs) to any given directory tree.
2. That leverage the Windows Management Interface (WMI) to assist in domain-wide computer hardware and software profiling and auditing.
