Work Experience:
There were many activities performed in the project which are briefly described below:
I was involved in the UI interaction part of the Application [PIM] as a software engineer.
Implemented the functionalities as per the client’s requirement and successfully delivered the same as per the scheduled time.
Carried out fixing of the critical, complex and simple type of defects assigned to me and delivered the same as per the deadline.
Carried out validation and maintenance task on the UI of the application.
Executed FxCop on the coding done as per the requirement so as to make sure of any coding violations done and take appropriate actions if identified.
Executed .Net profilers for checking out if there is any memory leak in the code implemented.
Executed ANTZ profiler for checking the performance of the code implemented(i.e. to cross check whether performance hit is there or not and take appropriate actions if there is any performance hit in the code implemented).
Created Test Drivers for automating the test case and executing those test drivers on daily basis using to tool NUnit. This would help us in identifying the flaw in any module or functionality which could have happened due to any check-in performed or any other specific reason. The flaw then can be corrected after taking appropriate actions for the same.
Automated system test cases using QTP scripts.
There was a process of exchanging the code base every night between BSIL and the Client. This was an automated process [i.e. Synchronization Process] which used to exchange all the modified files every night. We were assigned the task of monitoring the same and if the process fails we were supposed to carry out the required steps manually so as to make sure that both the client and as well as BSIL contain the same code base every day in the morning.
