Work Experience:
· Senior IT Field Support Engineer at Abdulla Fouad Co. Ltd., Riyadh Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from October 2003 – December 2006.
· Senior IT Field Support Engineer at Lucent Technologies International, Riyadh Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, a leading U.S. Telecommunications Company operating in Saudi Arabia since January 1, 1995, under the sponsorship of Abdulla Fouad Co. Ltd., from June 1999 – October 2003.
· Support a large community of users approximately more than 1,500 employees, installing and supporting Compaq Laptops, Desktops, and IBM Desktops/Laptops under Windows XP, 2000, Windows NT4.0 and Windows 95’ & 98’ environment.
· Responsible for direct customer interface which includes repairing system problems at the customer's site including but not limited to: application installation and configuration such as Microsoft Office XP 2003, 2000, 97, Exchange5.0, Outlook98, Exceed, Oracle 16 and 32 bit, Mcafee virus scan, email problems and functionality questions, networking printer problems, data comms/network troubleshooting, remote network dial-in access PPP, PC/Laptop configuration and network configuration.
· Accurately record/update callers’ problems/request using Lucent IT Helpdesk system.
· Familiar with TCP/IP Subnetting and DHCP, and technical knowledge on WINS/DNS.
· Windows NT Server/Domain Support and Administration such as Installing/Managing Network Print Device, and regularly set back-up tapes on File Servers according to Scheduled Back-up.
· Proactively Maintain Computer Hardware/Software.
· Also experience repairing and troubleshooting any kinds of Atlas English /Arabic Talking Dictionary and Business Organizer.
