Worked for the Product Tracking and reporting system of OMIFCO. OMIFCO is one of the largest Fertilizer Companies in Oman. It is a joint venture between the Gov. Of Indian firm IFFCO and Oman government. I have been involved in the functional analysis, coding and implementation of the Product tracking and Reporting system. The system is developed using Oracle 10g. Database, Oracle forms 10g,Oracle Reports 10G and Oracle Jdeveloper10g .
Bechtel & Co. LLC: Sohar Aluminum Project, Sohar ,Oman : 8/06 to 3/08
Oracle Technical Lead Analyst/Designer/Developer
Worked in the Administration and Employee relations department of Bechtel Corporation. Primary task involved the functional analysis, design and implementation of a comprehensive payroll tracking and reporting database i.e. a Payroll and accounting processing system and database in compliance with the HR and Administration system. This involved meeting with the Employees Relation Manager, Site administration manager, Finance dept. personnel and other Mangers. I have also developed a system for employee evaluation with the facility to print and update the details. These requirements laid groundwork for an equally comprehensive design specification and initial system prototype, developed using Oracle Forms, Reports, PL/SQL and Microsoft Excel.
One of the greatest challenges involved was demonstrating to the engineers (users) exactly what a employee evaluation oracle database system could offer them in terms of efficiency and aiding their current work efforts. Continual efforts were made (through presentations, demonstrations and prototypes to both senior management and ultimate end-users) to keep all concerned involved in all aspects of the system design and development. Tasks also included some general project management duties, such as the allocation and delegation of documentation and development tasks to members of the small design and development team involved.
Many in-house software’s for the B.E.C is also done during these period. These includes Client directory(Distributable version) developed using Visual Basic, Access and Excel.
Other software’s are Single GIN comparison program, and Covering Memo system for Finance Department. Single Gin Comparison is a program used to compare the quotation price by received by the Purchase Department and the actual valuation based on the receipt of Material by Stores Department. Covering Memo is a program used to verify the bookings, certification of bookings, preparation of LPO, certification of DN, made by the engineers and to send periodical reminders to them. These software’s are developed using Developer 2000,PL/SQL and VBSript.
Oracle Developer
Worked on the design and development of EPIC, aid to be used to print Photo Identity card for the voters in Inida . Developed using PL/SQL (Oracle 7) with Oracle Developer2000. Some DBA duties were required - these included installation of Oracle 7 on Windows 2000 server, the creation of a development and production database and maintenance of these databases. (These functions were also carried out on a Windows NT machine).
Extensive Oracle Application Server (formerly Oracle Web Application Server) administration was required. This included the installation of the OAS software, the ongoing tuning and maintenance of the OAS, and the implementation of security protocols to limit access to the development systems. (This software was also installed on both Unix and Windows NT with the help of other Programmers).
ASP/VBScript Development
Team member developing sites using ASP, VBScript, HTML and Visual Interdev v.6.0. Client include Collectorate Pathanamthitta,SSC(Sabarimala). I also incorporated MS-Access (for really small database development) and MS-Sql Server 7.0 (for bigger databases).

District Computer Programmer/Oracle Developer
I have worked as the district programmer(consultant and Programmer ) for Election Commission Of India, as a Direct hire employee from Keltron for this period, Apart from the task as a programmer, I had to take care of the administrative side also as the head of dept., supervise the computer operators, Monitor the works Related to Election dept. and technically it was a general system administration position encompassing a wide range of tasks. These include Developer 2000 v.2.0 (Forms 4.5 & Reports 2.0) development, PL/SQL and VB6 development. There is also some work involving Crystal reports. This position is constantly evolving and requires a quick update of skills in order to provide the necessary support. General support position involving maintenance of the existing database and front-end screens and reports. Front end was developed using Oracle Developer 2000, Release 2. Also worked on the migration of the database and its data to a new Linux system. PL/SQL programming to ensure the correct recreation of the new database exactly as it existed on the old system. 1.Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS) using VB 6, PL/SQL and oracle 8i
The project aims to provide the facility to check the voter’s list through phone calls. A special interfacing card called “Dialogic Card” with hunting facility (4 x 1) is provided for telephone call management.
2.Online Election Result Publishing VB 6 and oracle 8i
The project aims to provide the facility to publish the election results online. It developed for using in the General elections in Kerala State. Counting details transferred through the computer network setup with the O/o Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), 14 District Collectorates and 140 counting centers with dialup network facility. The online result was displayed in New Delhi, 14 District Headquarters and various print and visual media offices at a time.
3.Touch V-list using VB6 and oracle 7.3
This software aims to provide the facility to check the voter’s list through touch screen. People can search their name in the list without using the keyboard or mouse. Searching by Identity card number also provided
3.Elector’s Photo Identity Card ( EPIC) using developer2000 and oracle 7.3
This software is developed to issue the identity card for voters in Kerala State. Identity card number is produced with security code of “checksum” with foolproof program.

4 .Coppay Payroll system
Core Computer Consultants develops the COPPAY 2000 Payroll System. This system is used by Co operative banks in Kerala. COPPAY 2000 was developed using Oracle products such as Developer 2000 (Forms 4.5 & Reports 2.5), SQL*Forms, SQL*Plus, PL/SQL, SQL*Report writer and SQL*Loader.
