Work Description (With Client Representative Side)

 Involvement in Pre & Post Tender works and corporate with consultants & Client.
 Participate in contractual meeting with Contractor, Consultant, and Client.
 Check & Finalize the submitted take offs quantity by the Consultant, from the Tender & Shop drawings.
 Check & verify the contract documents of the Pre-tender works, in order to avoid any further discrepancies in the Post-tender time.
 Check, Finalize and approve Provisional Sum.
 Check & finalize the submitted interim payment by the consultant / contractor.
 Issuing of variation order for the additional work upon the approval from the Client
 Check & Finalize the submitted rate analysis by the consultant / contractor.
 Find out of cost saving to client and instructing our recommendation to Consultant through Client.
 Check, & finalize the claims in view of cost and time and forward to Client for Approval.
 Recommend and Instruct to the contractor through Consultant to obtain the better work quality as well as in view of cost saving to Client.
 Evaluate the Final Payment upon completion of project including variation.
 Check, & Finalize and approve the over run quantity of the items which exceeded from B.O.Q.

Work Description (With Contractor Side)

 Preparation of Take off from the Tender & Shop drawings and assist purchase department for material procurement.
 Negotiation with Suppliers to obtain the best cost benefit to the company.
 Preparing recap and updating the same upon approval of Shop drawing.
 Follow up the Inspection request for approval with consultant.
 Work out quantities from approved request for various items those work has been executed at site.
 Preparation of Monthly Payment Applications (Interim valuation) and subsequent negotiations
with the Engineer / Client.
 Prepare and submit Monthly Progress Review Report incorporating information from other departments.
 Assist to Preparation of all contractual letters related to the project.
 All Sub Contract Payment Certifications and Rate negotiations.
 Attending to Monthly Progress and Site Meetings with the Consultant and the Client representing the position of Project Quantity Surveyor were among my main duties under the above project.
 Preparation of Claims in view of Cost and Time.
 Preparing the Final payment upon completion of project including variation and Additional works.
 Find out Variations and prepare and submit the rate analysis and subsequent negotiations with the Engineer / Client for finalisation.
