JOB RESPONSIBILITY-

Magnetic resonances Angiography and Venography.
Maintain professional’s standards and employ best practise in order to provide a quality MRI service
To ensure correct Patient identification against MRI request , prior to scanning
Ensuring that all clinically urgent conditions are report to the referring clinician within the procurement time frame and document appropriately
To ensure appropriate and safe preparation of patient for MRI including gaining verbal consent for the procedure
Ensuring that the MRI system and PACS are kept in proper working condition.
To provide patient with care necessary to ensure a successful diagnostic examination as well as a level of patient well-being.
To participate in the safety interview in they’re past history of surgeries.

During this period I was working as senior MRI Radiographer. This centre is having 0.2 Tesla GE MRI machine, from various town & cities the Doctors refer patients for Diagnostic purpose. It is 24 hrs working Centre. In which several patients are diagnosed and given all type of Radiological facilities. Including all routine MRI scan and special procedures. Like –Angiography, MRCP, peripheral angiography, venography, bolus tracking imaging. And stroke imaging –diffusion and perfusion imaging,
The on call duty is very busy at this center, and providing high quality scans, and archiving data on cd, and filming and printing,

JOB TITLE- : CT Radiographer –Hear I worked as a senior ct radiographer, in spiral 16 slice ct-GE. It includes all types of routine and special cases in very busy ct department, Average no of patients are 20 to-25 patients per day, the on call duty also very busy, and I am responsible for all stock checks and quality assurance checks in the centre. This centre is very well equipped with all modern patient facility and to deliver high quality services.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIY:
Advanced image production by selecting appropriate parameter.
Axial and spiral mode imaging.
Spiral mode with high speed and high quality techniques by selecting appropriate pitch ratio.
Preparing and Position of the Patient.
To perform most of Scans Head, Thorax, Abdomen, Screen the patient positioning patients safely for examinations by adapting standard techniques depending on medical conditions associated with the history of patient.
Responsible for performing CT as required by the referral under the direction of radiologist.
Perform a variety of CT procedures using standard protocols; Obtain images, and to keep film records and backups from desk to storage media, and transfers from desk to work stations, and to post processing of images in workstation using medical imaging software communicating with other members of the team concerning patient status and diagnosis.
Using radiation protection accessories to all patients and minimize the radiation dose.
After injecting contrast media to see any kind of allergic reaction to the contrast media and prepare the emergency drugs if any reaction occurs.
